VAST Fam: Privacy Policy

VAST Fam is provided by Zing Performance Ltd ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the VAST Fam app collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it deliberately simple: we collect only what the programme needs, we don't show ads, and we never sell your data.
Who the app is for
VAST Fam is designed for young people aged 7–17 working through a Zing Performance programme with the support of a parent or guardian. Accounts are created as part of programme enrolment by the family's parent or guardian. There is no in-app sign-up, and children cannot create an account themselves.
What we collect
When you use the app signed in to your family's programme account, we collect: the account email address and name used to sign in; exercise session activity (which sessions were completed and when, streaks and goals); and results from the in-app skill check-ins (such as balance, memory and attention activities). This information is linked to the programme account so that progress can be tracked over time and shared with the account holder.
What we don't collect
We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, browsing history or advertising identifiers. The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. If you choose to sign in with Face ID, that check happens entirely on your device. Biometric data never leaves it.
How we use the information
We use the information solely to run the programme: to sign you in, deliver each day's sessions, measure progress, generate progress reports (which may be emailed to the account email address), and provide support. We may use aggregated, de-identified information to improve the programme.
Where it's stored and how long we keep it
Data is stored on our secure servers and transmitted using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS). We keep programme data for as long as the account is active. When an account is closed, associated personal data is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with service providers who host our infrastructure under contract, or where the law requires it.
Your rights
The account holder can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold for their family's account. To exercise any of these rights, or to close an account, contact us at info@zingperformance.com and we'll take care of it.
Children's privacy
Children use the app under an account created and managed by their parent or guardian, who consents to the collection described above as part of enrolment. We collect no more information from children than is needed to run the programme, and parents can review or delete their child's data by contacting us.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top, and notify account holders where appropriate.
